On June 18, 2024, the Biden Administration announced two major policy changes that will positively impact thousands of undocumented individuals.

  1. Work-based Visas for DACA Recipients and Other Dreamers:

    Graduates from U.S. colleges and universities, such as DACA recipients and other Dreamers, can now secure work visas faster when receiving job offers in fields aligned with their degrees.

  2. Relief for Undocumented Spouses of U.S. Citizens:

    To qualify, noncitizens must have lived in the United States for 10 years or more and be legally married to a U.S. citizen by June 17, 2024, while meeting all relevant legal criteria.
